Gabriel Naccarato was born in Pittsburgh and has lived there almost his whole life before moving to New York City in 2019.
After struggling through a semester of pre-med classes, he decided to take a break and sign up for a fiction writing workshop and fell in love, cementing his passion and future career as a writer. He graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with degrees in English Writing, English Literature, and Criminal Justice.
In 2019, Gabriel was accepted into The New School’s Creative Writing MFA, with a focus on Writing for Children and Young Adults. He enjoys writing horror, fantasy, and all types of speculative fiction for children and adults.
Gabriel previously worked in publishing as a Marketing Assistant for Scholastic before pivoting to the nonprofit sector. After a short time as a Marketing Coordinator at the One Love Foundation, he pivoted once again to land conservation and currently works as a Program Coordinator for the Land Trust Alliance.
